Yes I have been a little slack with my miniatures but I did make something recently. I came across these boots in this e-zine [page 63]. Ok it’s all in Japanese or Korean but I traced the template onto a leather/suede swatch I had. For the sole I used synthetic cork which my dad cut into thin slices. I stitched the two pieces onto the sole, then stuck another slice to cover the stitching. Trimmed any excess. I stitched some thread through as laces. Not bad for a first attempt. They look a little bit like these, don’t you think? The boots measure about 2 cm in length – can anyone tell what scale that makes them?
